My digital key finally works!

I’ve tried sending ViN to Ram Cares, tried emails to the individuals above, tried a case manager, waited for OTA, and even tried to have a dealer look into this. None of that worked for my MY25.

Finally I got ahold of this TSB and shared it with my dealer on my last visit. They pushed the update and it fried a module. They replaced the module, installed the updates, and the digital key is finally available. They even gave me a new key card.

I finally got it connected to my phone. So far. I find the key more practical since I can use it with passive entry, but I have verified the phone is functional for entering and starting the vehicle with a tap…. So this will probably be a backup feature for me after all.

I still have nothing. I tried emailing the email addresses in this thread, however, got no response. Accepting that the features probably never coming.

It’s sad that any of us should be resigned to accepting a product that is any less than what was advertised. I find it more disturbing that RAM would allow purchasers of new vehicles to be left unhappy in any fashion. Our complaints are valid and legitimate and their response is pathetic. I will never recommend this brand to anyone due to how their customers have been treated.
