True, but nothing is all that great yet. Magnaflow probably has the best offering but who the hell is paying that?

$3k is pretty steep imo, I need to hear all my options before spending that on an exhaust for a V6 engine. I had a corsa on my gen2 raptor and I really liked it

AWE 0FG is absolutely awesome. Just saying. Not because I heard it online etc., I actually have it and it’s the real deal. Also $1K less. Easy install and the chrome black tips look great too.

The SPEQ kit from Magnaflow is $2k and you get valves so no drone, not even above 2k rpm. Tips are nicer and welded on not cheap looking and with clamps. I feel you get more for your money with MF tbh. No brainer for me. MF is a well trusted brand and they stand behind their quality, fit and sound. At the end of the day you get what you pay for. If you can afford this truck Im sure you can afford a nice legit full cat-back system for $2k. Just my 2 cents. I look forward to driving my truck every day it is so addicting. Just hard to get good sound clips that will do it justice.

I'm still by far the most curious to hear the Magnaflow 12599 muffler swapped for the factory muffler. I have one sitting in my garage, just need to find the time to take it down to the muffler shop and get it welded in.

Wasn’t there a dealership guy that was going to do this?

Afford and justify aren’t quite the same. I’ve “wasted” $2,000 on Baja designs lights and a waster fluid tank because I think it looks cool. I “wasted” almost $2,000 dollars for wheels because I think the stock offering from Ram is garbage. Heck I might spend a few thousand on some billet upper control arms from Foutz soon. But I don’t know if I can justify $2,000 for an exhaust just yet.

Different stroke for different folks. Although I used to install $6,000+ titanium akrapovic exhaust systems on the Ducati’s all the time. That was wild.

Haha…well I think it is easier to justify the exhaust than lights and ucas you can only use and/or see/feel the benefit when offroading. Btw, Camburg is developing some badass ucas and trailing arms. Be on the lookout.

100%, this guy gets it. It all comes down to perceived value, and $2-3k (plus install) for a different sound is a wild proposition for me. Perceived value and ability to afford are two very unrelated things.

I do still like to hear the sound clips, though!

I’m not opposed to spending money on exhaust, but if I can achieve the sound with a weld in muffler, im good with that too!

I dunno about that......I want a Ducati Diavel V4 with a Termignoni installed.....I had just about convince the wife, too, until I bought the RHO

Termi makes great stuff too. Helps that you can buy “termignoni” strait from Ducati with warranty, and if the dealer installs it, it has an extra year or two added warranty.

In my 7 years at Ducati , I’ve seen just a few more failures with termi over Akrapovic.

If people want to save a little the MRT does sound pretty good. I just needed more than the trail rated and instead of getting the extreme I just went with the AWE 0FG cat back with polished black tips. MRT does exactly what they say it will do and is not bad at all.

Are you selling your mrt trail rated?
