is a Direct connection option or higher horse power HO Hurricane engine coming?

let's wait and see next weekend what will be revealed during the Roadkill

few guys are bringing crazy hurricane builds, maybe some of them using aftermarket parts that will be for sale to public

still patiently waiting for tuner priced below $1K from MOPAR that increases horse power from 540hp to 600hp, and I will be good. just like what Ford does to Ranger Raptor.
Really that's all most of us want. I'm not trying to squeeze 700 or 800 hp out of this truck. But an honest 50 to 100 more wheel horsepower would greatly improve the driving experience. Tuner + downpipes is really all I'm looking to do.

Getting rid of throttle delay would be a big improvement
I agree. I ran a Pedal Commander on my last truck ('14 Ram 5.7) and it was definately worth the price of admission. I just don't feel like buying another to turn around and sell it when a tuner comes out with that feature already included.

Filter is out...I just cant talk about it yet. This is big progress in past few months on this.
Is there anything you can talk about yet in regard to DC mods, since roadkill nights has come and gone with no information about the RHO?

Has the RHO become the red headed step-child of the ram lineup?
Certainly does seem that way. I was thinking the exact same thing.

I think the RHO has definitely been pushed off to the side for all the hype over the new truck lineup.
But thankfully the Hurricane is getting a lot more attention now. And Dodge is desperately trying to get people interested in the new Dodge Charger with the Hurricane. So even if mods aren't being developed specifically for the RHO, there will be overlap with the powertrain mods that are developed.

And also other mods for the new trucks that will be workable with the RHO.

And another thing, the longer the RHO is on the used market, the more inexpensive it becomes for all the people who couldn't buy the truck at $75/85k. And that means more people wanted to modify their RHOs

Respectfully, I don't give a shit about a stupid filter. I want to hear some info on a factory tune.

That's like being excited for a stupid side salad when there is a fat ribeye on the grill.

I couldn't have said it better!

Focus on the Charger makes sense because sales plummeted after they went full EV. Sales of the Charger Daytona EV collapsed with an 88% drop year-over-year, moving just 534 units through June 2026 (according to the Interwebs). Today the Hurricane is outselling the EV by a wide margin.

The introduction of the Super Bee with a Hurricane I6 seems to cement the deal - the Hurricane isn’t going away anytime soon.

Hoping that will trickle down to the RHO in the near future (now?).

Maybe they will mail all of us an SRT badge too

I do not have any more info I can share (I do not know ) but working on getting a meeting setup with DC team to discuss RHO and other engine upgrades coming. Working on this

You’re the man! If you get a TRX don’t forget us “Poors.”

Hence the quotation marks to offset a phrase intended to demonstrate sarcasm to the smooth brained types.
I’m smooth for sure 🤣

I think the people that buy the RHO are probably just as wealthy as the TRX, thats my experience atleast. The TRX is cool, just not sure its worth it to me. I will be doing an in depth RHO vs TRX video coming in next month. I have already driven the new TRX a bunch, I like it...just not sure its worth it for the exhaust/supercharger sounds and a little bit faster. I have been very happy with my RHO, when the time comes to move into something else this wont be an easy decision. Same was said about our Bronco Raptor. That was hard to part after 3 years. One of the most fun vehicle I have owned.
