I have a contact since I was pI'm curious if anyone has a contact at Diablosport - I'd love to uninstall my JB4, install a diablosport and do a side by side video...
While that may be “true” guys that have run them back to back didn’t see the numbers to back up that claim and according to their draggy results it was negligible at best.I started seeing their dyno numbers on their map3 and it gets you to only 500whp as the JB4 gets you to like 543whp in map2.
Wonder if the diablosport can up their power more than what they claim and did on the dyno like the JB4. Even though my diablosport is on the way, I’m having my doubts with the less power gains they have. Not sure entirely what to do.
I contact Nick at 797 and inquired about the JB4. Not sure if to order that as well and see which one to end up keeping.
What I do like about the diablosport is the pedal commander but power wise , it suchs compared to the JB4
It comes with one. So I wouldn’t know of a separate part #. Sorry.Which Pedal Commander model is it? PC-78 right?
Would love to figure out a way to get it going!I have a contact since I was p

Until that pos dies on you and you barely have pedal response until you pull over and reconnect factory plug. Did it.Congrats!!! Trust me, you will want the pedal commander

Yeah, I get it. It will probably happen while my wife is driving and then Ill be looking for an apartmentUntil that pos dies on you and you barely have pedal response until you pull over and reconnect factory plug. Did it.
But it all reality, peddle commanders have been around for a LONG time and so has DiabloSport. They’re a solid company with solid products and amazing reviews.(I’m one!!Yeah, I get it. It will probably happen while my wife is driving and then Ill be looking for an apartment![]()
Agreed, loved it when it worked ha. Banks killed them in a review for what the pedal offers. But it all reality, peddle commanders have been around for a LONG time and so has DiabloSport. They’re a solid company with solid products and amazing reviews.(I’m one!!)

And how do you like it?Fuck it... I pulled the trigger on the Diablosport lol. I like that it basically comes with a pedal commander and I don't think I'll be running E30 at all.
I had to take it off after just 1 hour of installing it due to a vacuum hose that kept popping off under boost when I was doing WOT pulls. And how do you like it?
Diablo says maps 1,2 and, 3 can be ran on 91 oct. I have the same problem in AZ and only have 91 near me. I haven't installed mine yetInstalled my DS Cat6 yesterday, and let me tell you- it's absolutely worth the money!!!
I didn't care about just peak HP gains like the JB4 does, the lazy accelerator pedal was my biggest gripe. The fact this is an all-in-one tuner/pedal commander made it the right choice for me.
I have only used Map1 so far (only have 91 octane here in SoCal) and it feels like there's more power. Nothing crazy, but there's a difference.
The biggest difference is the way the pedal feels with the +3 setting. It feels like the turbo lag has been eliminated, and it just drives so well off the line now. No more needing to go into Sport mode to get better throttle response which makes the gears hold way too long.. just leave in Auto mode and you get the crispy throttle response with the right shift points.
Going from a TRX to this RHO, my biggest complaint was the off the line throttle and torque response.. this changed the game for me and it almost feels like there's more low end torque than my TRX had!
It's a must-have upgrade and I don't think I could go back to stock now.
If you decide to go JB4, you'll want to pair it with a Pedal Commander for sure.
Super glad to hear that!!! One is never sure if the experience will be the same for others especially when you highly recommend itInstalled my DS Cat6 yesterday, and let me tell you- it's absolutely worth the money!!!

Interesting! I’ll give Map 2 a shot !Diablo says maps 1,2 and, 3 can be ran on 91 oct. I have the same problem in AZ and only have 91 near me. I haven't installed mine yet
Also doing more like a 0-62 with those tires and the speedo not be updated for themUpdate since installing the DS:
The truck definitely has added power even on Map 1, and really the biggest difference is just part throttle since there’s so much torque available now just driving normally around town! It’s a big difference.
As for actual data, I can tell you this. Best 0-60 time (using the Performance page timer) was 4.8 previously, after many attempts, that was with the stock Goodyear 35s.
Now, with the heavy 36” Mickey Thompsons I have now (+10lbs per tire heavier than factory) and the DS, I tried a 0-60 run last night on Map 1 and easily got a 4.5 - I prob could get it down even more but one run I already saw a 3/10th second reduction and the truck felt so much faster.
Overall, I’m extremely impressed, especially with just the daily driving improvement with the massively improved throttle response and low end torque increase.
Yes good point! Speedo is off a bit now with the tires so that makes sense. Also doing more like a 0-62 with those tires and the speedo not be updated for them
