DS CAT6 holds the crown hands down. But I’m not saying the JB4 is bad, it’s not and they are playing with higher HP levels using a guaranteed warranty decline of E85.

But, the potential is better if they can get it dialed in.

I just placed a ‘26 and day dreaming.

I’m not so interested in peak 0-60 numbers as I am in pedal commander/throttle lag delete and available torque to pass on the highway- coming off a 975 lb-ft of torque and I loved that feeling.

FYI, diablosport released an update, you have to update the app on your phone, then update the cat 6 module itself through the app. took less than 5 minutes.

Gauges and logging are now available.

Have a question hopefully someone can answer. I just installed my JB4 over the wkend, running 93 and on map2 got a 12.40. But my question is how do you delete it from your "BEST TIMES " on the uconnect?

What was your 0 to 60 time?
I think that quarter mile time is faster than the best Diablo time. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Yes

It doesn’t eliminate turbo lag, it just takes a very lazy pedal and puts it where it should be. It will “feel” less laggy but it doesn’t change the engine performance

Yeah…. Don’t know if it’s glitchy for anyone else but my buddy sent me screenshots of his app. Only half the gauges were displaying information, the rest were big fat ugly zeros. I called him this morning to get more info I could share on the forum. He said when he went thru the update process, showed complete. He also said when he went for a test drive after the update where he noticed only half the gauges were reading, when he turned the truck off, closed out of the app, turned the truck back on, open the app it said the app displayed the “need to update” message. He then cycled power, the app connected with no message. I told him it may be time to remove and sell. If what he describes is similar to others on here, HUGE MISS by DS/Holley.

How’s it going everyone,

So now that I finally have my truck I definitely want to up the power on it. I’ve read good things on JB4 but also on the Diablosport Pulsar. I’ve ran Diablosport predator years back when I had my Srt4 and never had an issue with it so I know Diablosport is another proven platform, just like Burger Tuning.

Those of you with JB4, I think this platform gives more power than the Diablosport right? Or are they the same gains? Diablosport says for the HO you’ll see gains of up to 63whp.

Also looking at the installation videos for both, they both install similar but also a little differently on the Diablosport.

Which one would you guys choose? Trying to see what my best bang for buck is without actually having the motor go “bang” lol.

Hmm, maybe I'm old fashioned, and I know jb4 is a very well known and trusted brand but I don't like that they don't have a phone number. Holley has a tech support number specifically for DIablosport right on the support page.

I had similar issues when i first went to install. I am leaning towards getting this thing returned. I never had issues with my JB4 on my M340. Running it for 4 years.

75% R / 25% F torque split in Baja is the biggest difference. I think you'd get a better time with more equal torque split in sport mode.

Has anyone tested out a launch in Baja mode vs Sport mode?

If the transmission shifting is the same, the advantage of the softer Baja suspension mode may actually yield some gains since a softer suspension usually lets the vehicle hook better from a dig. Then again, even in sport mode, the suspension is relatively soft and forgiving. I just wonder if the shift and traction/slip logic is superior or not to Sport and if launch control works to its full potential without being in sport mode.
