Who was the guy that has his PCM and transmission software updated yesterday and was going to pick up and see if his truck still only went 98? I cant see to find it.
I noticed 15MPG there. What are your driving habits? I cannot get better than 12.8 no matter how consistent I maintain speed or slow I drive.
Same. Best I’ve ever had was a 1500 road trip @ 13.7
I know it may sound weird but have you guys tried snow mode? Its kinda like an echo mode really and trx guys use it as a gas saving trick when just driving normally.

I’ll give it a shot this weekend and see what happens. Houston is like 110 degrees with 100% humidity but if snow saves me a few $$ then… lol

ok 12 pages in....98mph WTH. Cant do a full 1/4 mile run with the 26...I am seeing some other interesting things on the Ram site. If this truck only hits 98 this is pretty silly being its made for performance, granted I will not hit over 100 much but I know many will out west on trails or on a 1/4 mile track
That was from a roughly 1200 mile road trip, which included a day at the dunes and a lot of backroad driving and mostly highway otherise.
I average high 14s, low 15s normal which is about 60% highway and 40% city. I just drive it man. Use sport mode quite a bit and get on it quite a bit. Sounds dumb but the more I tried to get good fuel economy the worse it was. Lol... Just drive it and fill her up when shes thirsty.

I have gotten 15-16 on a road trip when keeping speeds under 70mph. TRD Jon just did a 520 mile trip and got over 18mpg with his RH0.

I drove a 26 already just didnt do a video on it. Didnt feel much different than my 25. When vehicles have less than 1000 miles on them its hard to gauge the transmission calibration and engine tuning to give a real fair comparison. a lot of learning logic going on with the ECM/TCM on these trucks.
What were the roads like (I.e., flattish, mountains, etc.). In Colorado’s mountains it’s lots of ups and downs, hard to achieve anything over 13-14 mpg.
So there has been a recent development on this, or at least on my truck and my issue. I’ll report back with the outcome when I can.

all midwest for me...but Jon is down in Florida. I would think out west in the mountains MPGs would be a lot lower than by us

That makes sense. I travel from Denver to Albuquerque to Phoenix regularly and next time I make the trip I will measure MPG on multiple legs. One way is fairly downhill, the way back is lots of uphill. In the mountains, it's a 12-13.5 affair, but I honestly can't drive less than 85 in the wide open west (channeling my inner Sammy Hagar)!
