From what I know EU and Aussie models are. The reason being Q (instead of T) rated tires. The OEM T tires are not street legal. And I think there is no T rated street legal tire on any 18+wheel apart from Yokohama Prada that has lower (116) load rating.

I saw a new RHO in some Russian/Ukrainian country on Youtube the other day; couldn't see the tires, though. Every other country has their own little things that vehicles approved for use in their country must abide by.

Here's the point about having the EXPORT tune on your truck labeled for sale in the USA: it's not certified by the EPA for use in the USA. The tune might be able to pass US Federal emissions, but I guarantee RAM didn't spend the money to get it certified by EPA.

If you think you're stuck at 98mph and you're not getting anywhere with RAM, file a complaint with EPA and tell them they stuck the EXPORT tune on your new truck which is supposed to be certified for use in the USA. Show them the RECALL reference 19C. The EPA will then knock on RAM's door and ask what they are doing.

I did the same. Took it in to Ron Carter CDJR & asked around while getting oil change. They said they had no clue what I was talking about. I went straight into Houston and floored it and got it up to 108 before letting off the gas. I didn’t read the performance pages but was more curious if I’d be capped at 98. Never thought of this. Agreed, if we want to make Ram get a bit uncomfortable and at least start looking into it what better way than getting the Feds involved.

My case manager just informed me there is nothing Ram will do about this. She stated there will be no software or fix and that 98 mph is the top speed moving forward.

I explained the Ram USA website still advertises a 118 mph top speed and 2026 models still have a 118 mph top speed. Still , nothing will be done.

I have an extremely difficult time believing this. They offered $3500 for my troubles! I asked for the buy back arbitration information. She will be sending that my way and cancelling my case. I can’t believe it. Lol

Someone's probably already said this, but none of this makes any sense. Factory tires are "T" rated for 118 mph and were designed in conjunction with Goodyear for the TRX for high-speed use and they are in fact one of the very few tires which meet the load and speed criteria for our trucks. If they are in fact reflashing US spec models, it has nothing to do with the tires.

Just to add - I have spoken with another dealership in Houston area regarding this and the answer was the were not aware of the PCM flash issue. However, Service also said they hadn't had to flash any RHO PCMs recently so no feedback from anyone. They did say they would see what they could find out.

Im guessing a redeye 6.2L pumping out 807hp. Msrp at $124k. There is a market for it if you look at the $145k price tag on the $115k msrp Raptor R.

Mine goes 118mph so Ive heard... No power issues at all... See pics... One pull I hit over 540HP on cluster. Uconnect screen shows way less. Wonder if the HP and TQ are reversed? Cant get it to show over 400HP on Uconnect at all. Just for reference... These images were taken in Canada. Its closer to me than Mexico...
