If this really is the new standard, I’d expect a “recall” to try and force everyone into the new top speed. Not just a handful of us.

There is a “truth in advertising” law that could and should be implemented here. The lawyers at Stellantis know it. It would take a formal letter from a RHO owner’s lawyer and some public exposure.

Do you have a 2025 with a 98 mph top speed?
Sooooooo uhm does it still do 0-60 in 4.6 sec.? Now I question this purchase. I mean I had ordered a 25my and got pushed to 26my and now I don't even know what im getting (I would have had a truck that went 118mph). I thought this was to beat the Raptor and now who knows? I feel scammed now and if I keep my order(still scheduled for a month now) a tuner is now a must where it wasn't a thought. And I shouldn't have to spend more money to get it back to where it was!
My 0-60 is close. I’ll have to re check today or tomorrow
Until I knew why they are making limitations, I would hold off on a tuner personally. Edit: I too want a Cat6, but I’ll slow roll it

Agreed. The stock engine is already being blasted with 28psi. That is a lot of boost for a stock engine. Doing a tuner to pump even more boost when it seems the factory is trying to pull back on power to preserve whatever is even scarier.

I would hold off on the purchase personally.
I was dead set on the rho till all the things I kept reading. A friend of a friend has a 23 trx. I went and met up. Same truck but old electrical system so no worrying about constant dead batteries and any of that nonsense.
Drove it, the sound is unbeatable. Around city we got 10mph driving reasonable and highway 14. Not horrible but not buying it for gas mileage and the rho isnt THAT much better on gas. Not like its night and day.
Then there's the sound and acceleration.... holy mother of God. The trx is nuts. 580 wheel hp bone stock. 702hp and 650tq. Got 3.8 to 60mph and just kept pulling like a freight train. Currently in the market for a 21-22 low mileage truck.
If dodge wants to do a change of collateral and give me a 26 with an advertised 98 mph top speed then I’ll be fine with that. But my 25 should do the advertised 118.

The “used” part was a big factor for me and then when looking at the leftover “new” it was the price. Curious what the next year or two holds for the TRX.
I hate complaining about something as trivial as a top speed, it’s not like I’m out racing and exceeding 98 all day every day, but when passing it hits 98 so fast. It needs more.
100% you never know what you’re getting when you buy something like this used. If I wanted to spend 100k on a truck I could. I just can’t justify it.
Well first off I would fire all their software programmers, as they failed this truck from day one. But hoping this is just a temporary program fix until they can iron out the bugs. As for the tuner, I will wait a bit but I really first need them to build my truck first......someday soon I hope
