RHO range and MPG

I'm pretty positive if you plan on towing anything with this truck I'm guessing Sub 6mpg. You better get an Fn auxiliary gas tank in the Box
Towed a 6 x 12 tandem axle enclosed trailer 105 miles, single digit temps, west Texas winds 70mph averaged right at 10mpg.

Awesome, my fuel mileage has gone up alot since I broke it in. Still getting sub 10s going into the wind with cold temps but getting 14-15mpg with no wind on no incline roads. When I posted that I was around 250 miles on the engine. I knew it would get better. Pulling in winter 10mpgs doesn't sound to bad

It's not bad, but a 6x12 trailer is pretty small/light!

That's not bad at all mine was always around 10.5 could only touch 12 on long trips.
I have the same experience. I have taken to coasting a lot to see if I just drive aggressively. I cannot do better than 10/13 mpg. Why did RAM market it 50% better?

FWIW, I think they marketed it as 25% better mileage. 12 overall vs. 15. But, from the sound of it, no one was getting 12 in the TRX either - so the reality might be about 10 vs. 13 for TRX vs. RHO - which is still 30% better.

I have 1200 miles and my trip computer that has never been reset is at 14.1 Don’t do much city driving and highway is usually 70ish mph. As the engine is breaking in and temps warming up I have been going up .2-.4 mpg each week

Last 90 was over 15

I've noticed mine creeping up as the temps creep up. I'm up to 12.7.

Just for reference, I’m in the Midwest and driving a leveled Laramie with TRX wheel and tire takeoffs. Regular hemi engine.

Over the past couple of weeks during a cold spell, I was averaging mid-14s. It warmed up this week to the 70s and I jumped up to 16.2.

That's pretty good. It is amazing what warm weather does. I put new tires on my Titan last fall - just as the weather was getting colder in Ohio. I sometimes got 17+ mpg on my way to work - which is mostly 50-75 mph driving and not many lights. It dropped to 14 or 15 seemingly overnight and I thought it was the tires. We've had a warm week this week and I've seen over 17 a time or two! Might not seem like much, but 14 vs. 17 is over 20% better. Suspect the RHO will see similar gains.

My 2020 Rebel was similar. I would get a solid 2.5 mpg improvement in warm weather (I'm also in Ohio). I chalked it up to summer gas and the slight overinflation of tire pressure from the heat.
