Roar Pedal nothing to worry about when getting service ..they won't know it's there and won't throw any codes. All it's doing is adjusting the pedal sensitivity, nothing ECU or fueling related.

For sure, that's the conclusion I came to as well.

so did installing this eliminate the 1-2 second delay from the throttle when dropping the hammer on that 25? curious becuz its bad and its not just turbo lag. Thanks Mikey

What kind of difference does this make when in the standard drive mode? I drive in sport most of the time for better performance, but when commuting long distances, I stay in standard.

Makes a world of difference. No lag whatsoever. Instant, responsive throttle. Completely adjustable and it’s get quite “sporty” in sport mode. I have the Peddle Commander but they’re all pretty much the same

It's a big difference. Not to mention, if you're commuting a long distance or just going on a nice, easy Sunday drive- you can adjust it on the fly very quickly. For this reason, I recommend spending the extra money to get the permanent display. It looks cool too, it has a nice crisp LED screen.

I truly believe once you get it, you'll realize that you can't live without it. Especially for spirited driving. that's where it really shines. Theres zero reason to have to floor it to get some power like the OEM mapping makes you. I'm used to sensitive throttles in a motorcycle/sports cars and this made me feel right at home.

Even though it doesn't technically add power, it definitely makes it feel that way on the butt dyne.

Yes, all lag gone.
Make sure you you follow the install instructions to the letter!! You don't want to get a CEL. I left my door open for 30 mins before I started...I also did not touch the door handle or bring the key near the truck. You do NOT want to wake the truck.

On Auto you have to get more aggressive with the pedal settings like Sport+ or Race...on the RHO Sport Drive Mode, you can run the pedal in regular Sport 6 and it feels great.

Ok update if you mess it up and get a CEL. Undo your negative terminals on both batteries and then unplug the unit. Wait 10 mins and plug the unit back into the pedal and then connect your batteries. Clears the code.

It connects fast... absolutely do NOT change the setting while on the throttle. Wait until you stop fully with foot off gas. Also, don't forget to do the pedal position learn procedure first before driving.

What’s the pedal position learn procedure? I have mine on the way as well and can’t install it until I get the truck back from the dealer

It explains how to do it in the instructions...so the Roar can learn the entire travel length of the pedal.

Finally got mine installed last night and completed the learn procedure. First drive to the office this morning has me smiling. Running in Sport+ 5 and it is a huge improvement in auto mode compared to stock. Way more responsive than the truck's stock sport mode without the RP.

JB4 itself does not have pedal adjustments. Burger Tuning does offer a separate pedal controller product though. The Cat6, on the otherhand, does have the pedal adjustment feature built into it. I wouldn't know, but I think you can run roar pedal and JB4 together if that interests you.
