Is the uninstall procedure the same as the install, truck go to sleep etc? Mines in the mail so I'll be installing it soon, incase something crazy happens I want to know how to go back to stock.

Disconnect both negative terminals to the batteries. Then unplug the unit from the pedal. Wait 20mins. Reattached the unit to the pedal and then connect the batteries. Start the truck and it should clear the light. Also make sure the connections are in right to the unit.

Is there a reason you can't disconnect the batteries while doing the install in the first place?

Yes. Should be. You just dont want to disconnect the throttle when the truck is awake. Will cause a CEL.

You probably can but the only issue i see with that is some functions take a lot longer to come back on after a battery disconnect. Definitely not the throttle but others. Maybe something else coming back to life after a few hours could disrupt something. Leaving the door open for 25-30 minutes with the key fob in a Faraday bag or way away from the truck, works fine. Honestly.

Just ordered my Roar pedal, hoping I have better luck than I did with the Pedal Commander i had on my 19 Ram. I unhooked it after it randomly commanded wide open throttle twice, having to stomp on the brake until the truck went into limp mode.

Adding one more electronic to this truck scares me. LOL. Might push her over the edge

I always run in sport or baja so im pretty happy with my throttle response personally. May think on the mopar tuner if/when it comes out if my truck is still mechanically/electronically flawless as it is now.

600 ish Hp would be nice.

Did everyone have success operating the 'Learn Mode' on their Roar Pedal? Or are you using the throttle controller without running this programing function?

It's easy, just follow the instructions. Do not run pedal without learning...it will not know where the limits of pedal travel are.

I did it. Takes literally 2 seconds once you hit the learn button on the app

Just a word of caution. I tried installing mine and I think I did it wrong. All sorts of lights and warnings up. I was able to reset the whole thing thanks to some of you in this thread! (THANK YOU). I was a bit spooked given all the issues with these trucks and mine only had the speed issue that was fixed with the latest update.

I decided to return the Pedal Roar but the customer service which I assume is a dude just started arguing that his product is the best and there is no issues with it. I acknowledged that more than likely it was me and based on his 30 day return policy, I wanted to return it. The dude went radio silence. 2 more follow ups and nothing.

My point, if you buy it make sure you make it work or else it will just sit there. I wont argue with this idiot anymore over the price but sure as hell if I was to see him we would exchange a few words instead of hiding behind a damm computer.

I guess I will re-grow a pair later this week and try to re-install it.

Sorry that happened to you. Sucks that that’s the norm for people’s customer service now a days. If you have “easy returns” or “30 day money back guarantee” on your website… you shouldn’t argue with the customer and just return the damn thing within that timeframe because that’s what YOU put to get the buyers attracted to your product.

Mine is just sitting in the garage and haven’t installed it yet. If I would’ve read this comment before ordering it last month, I would’ve stayed away because that shit just pisses me off. Fuck him/her.

Installation is simple. I wasn't clear about that. My issue is the little module will not do the learn mode process. I did successfully operate learn mode on the phone app. Oddly, it gave me one number and not a second but said completed and DEFINITELY works! Sport+ 5 and pulling up on Camaros, Mustangs and having fun. Truck threw a check engine light this afternoon. I'll unplug and redo the module to try and reset before heading to a dealership.

If I remember correctly, their "company address" is an apartment in Delaware or some shit lmao. Not surprised.
