Automatic side mirror retraction is already a thing with door lock. It’s also a really good way to tell if you hit the lock button without having to hit it again when you look out at your truck from wherever you are and can’t remember if you locked it.

I check mine that way ALL the time.

Is this a setting in uconnect? Mine has never done this and I'd like to change it.

Most likely, I set mine up 15 months ago so I can’t remember

Yes- Vehicle>Settings, scroll to Doors/Lock/Unlock, or something of the like.
