Add another to the CEL group...

Got my truck yesterday and put about 50 miles on it. All good. Got in it today, came to a STOP sign, and CEL came on. 79 miles on her. Auto Start/Stop was disabled. I'm going to hook it up on my Autel computer and see what it says when I have a moment. Not a reassuring feeling on Day 2 with my first RAM. Hoping it's something simple...

I got another CEL today, 2650 miles. Got home, checked with scanner, no diagnostic code. Same thing last week. Cleared the code with scanner both times. Interesting.

Damn, I’ll have to find that. Ok Dodge give us an update so we can really utilize the options.
Hit the A off button next to the 4 wheel drive modes. Ram will not be giving us an update for this and every option that comes out will cost money. Think the majority of us wanting to make changes will buy the Tazer when it comes out.

I'll pay for some options like keeping my custom drive option not straight to auto every time.

Yesterday I picked up my truck from the tint/PPF installer. I told them about the battery issues. They said they would keep it on a trickle charger. They didn't. They jumped it but the CEL and just about every other light was on. The powertrain was in 4 wheel drive and wouldn't let me switch it and there was no light indicator on any of the options. The mileage indicator was blinking, the seat belt alarm wouldn't stop dinging even though my belt was on, the auto parking break was malfunctioning, and none of the sensors/cameras were working. I thought about all the posts on this forum and thought "oh $h*t, here we go." I got it to the dealer and hoped for the best. They checked it and found 142 error codes. They were able to clear about 90 of them right away. Their senior tech looked at it today and said that the battery had been so depleted that it basically lost most of the software. He reloaded everything, did a short test drive, and said it was good. As my wife was driving me to the dealer I received a notice from the truck for two more issues. I called the service manager and told him. By the time I got there he had cleared them and no other issues have come up. I had to re-schedule my IGLA installation that was supposed to happen today. Fingers crossed that everything is okay on Saturday when he comes to my house to install it.

Update: My truck only had one code. P2C90 Crankcase Ventilation System - Hose “A” Disconnected
I visually inspected everything and found nothing obvious. I cleared the code and have driven another 15 miles or so with no reoccurrence yet. If it pops back up, I’ll take her to my local dealer and have them inspect all the clamps and hoses.

Honestly, felt a sigh of relief that it wasn’t anything more serious. Hoping it’s a random hiccup and not the precursor to more/deeper issues. I absolutely am in love with this truck! Blows my F150 Raptor out of the water in just about every way.

As an aside, Mark Dodge & Co. have been absolutely great with the few issues I’ve had since delivery. I’ve gotten multiple phone calls following up with me, and they aren’t the calls asking for a perfect score on the survey. They are genuinely concerned and care about my experience. I, for one, appreciate it very much.

Same...checked the code last night and nothing so cleared it. Next time it happens I'm going into the dealership as much as I hate too. Just want to have it noted at the very least
