I've been on the "list" since the being. No digital key. Had my truck over a year.

Shiiiiiiiit, even the RHO in GTA6 will have digital key before we do.

Everybody's got it backwards. The phone as a key feature is ready to go, but Ram made a deal with Rockstar to release it in conjunction with GTA6 as a promotion.... So we should get it around the same time GRR Martin finishes his next book.

Agreed. What really bugs me is the “failure is an option…no accountability required” philosophy.

Market a feature that doesn’t exist, fail to bring it to fruition before release, make promises and show infinitesimally small progress to stave off a class action, and continue to devote the vast majority of resources to new sales vs. fixing prior failures.

Does anyone think Stellantis fired anyone for this disaster? No.

Does anyone think Stellantis made any meaningful changes to anything to prevent a recurrence? No.

I doubt I would even use the Digital Key much, it’s the way it’s been handled.

I’m not making excuses for Stellantis, they prove time and time again that they’re a dysfunctional corporate behemoth, but with decades of failing lifters and cracked manifolds on the Hemi, we should be counting our blessings that we’re complaining about the absence of a Digital Key feature and not major issues with the Hurricane.

Good morning! We've got an update for you all. We can confirm that the next launch of Digital Key FOTAs commenced yesterday. There are about 2,000 VINs included in this next launch. We do once again want to caveat that the launches so far are MY25 Ram 1500s with BUILD year 2024.

We have confirmed with our FOTA team that they have started including the VINs that were provided from our forum customers, which is great! We are super excited to hear from any of you that receive this update over the next few days about how it's working and how you like the feature. Please feel free to send a follow up to your initial PM if you have any feedback or issues with usage.

We will keep everyone posted as the roll out continues!

Terrible idea. There is a process to roll out software updates. You validate it in a smaller population before you roll it out to all.

If they push it to everyone today and there is a bigger issue with the update, your pitchforks just get bigger.

I wouldn't want to be first on this one based on how much of a struggle this has been.

Thanks for the update Hannah, sounds very optimistic! How will we know once our RHO has been updated and ready to setup? Will the Uconnect app be updated or our trucks or both? I keep checking the app to see if the digital key tile appears.
