RAM is still advertising the "Digital Key" feature on their website. I'm actually paying a subscription for the functionality in the app, which does not include the Digital Key. C'mon, RAM.

I'm sorry Hannah, but I don't call a year later "quickly and efficiently". At the very least RAM should be discounting the monthly cost of the APP for paying users since it does NOT include the digital key we've all been promised (sold)

I have insider info that Stallantis knows all of these issues, from the Digital Key, to QC, etc… They simply don’t know how to fix it. If you are one of the ouch ones like myself where everything works on your Truck as advertised, hold on to it. Considered it a super limited edition trouble free model.

Except, there isn’t a subscription fee for the digital key feature, so you’re not paying any subscription fees for it on any of your Ram Connect services. You only need to accept the terms and conditions for it in the connected services app (if it ever does become available).

Here with a little heads up. As of now all over-the-air updates are currently paused. Once we are notified that they will resume, we will let you all know since we are still awaiting Digital Key implementation.

They bricked a bunch of wagoneer S w an over the air update, they had to get towed in and reflashed

We know they're subject to change, that's why an advertised and purchased feature for our trucks is not available nor functional. Subject to change is what got us here. We're looking for a the fix to the change we were subjected to.

It’s kind of a catch 22, or which way would you rather have it-
If they didn’t advertise it, then the 2025 owners (and potentially 2026 owners) wouldn’t get the feature at all, even when they do get it released.
Since they do advertise it, it’ll be flashed to work on 25-26 when they do have it ready, instead of potentially just 2027 model year moving forward.

My point is that they are aware it does not work, know they won’t be delivering it any time soon, yet still advertise it. Shady and dishonest. At this point I don’t have much faith that they’ll ever be able to deliver this function, so the right thing for them to do is stop advertising it until it actually is up and running.
