That was the idea, wanted a little less muff than the MF...both XPipe designs though.

The Borla Rep I've been emailing stated the RHO Offering from them is being pushed to mid-August.
He didn't say it, but from the tone of his email, I think they are having the same "It sounds terrible, so we're still tweaking it!" issue as every other aftermarket exhaust manufacturer.
To me personally, none of the RHO aftermarket exhaust setups sound good enough for me to drain a portion of my cash reserves for. MF still sounds better than the others, but again, it's not enough to justify the cost.
I know no exhaust for an RHO will ever have the burble of a V-Motor.
However, if they could demonstrate an increase in horsepower, that'd be a game-changer, and I'd be more likely to invest some money.
Right now, all they have going for them is, "It doesn't drone, but pretty much sounds just like the stock RHO exhaust."
IMO: All of them are one giant metal bucket of "MEH-BORING!"
This doesn't make sense to me because I've heard some exhaust systems for Inline-6 BMWs that sound amazing, from various Mod Channels on YT.

I feel the same way. The options are just "ok" at this point. Haven't heard anything that makes me want to spend that $2-$3k on an exhaust. Tim from Pick Up Truck Talk has an exhaust on his truck that he cannot talk about until the end of this month so I'll be curious to find out about that. Kind of bummed to hear about the borla system though, was really hoping for availability by the end of this month.

Curious to see what this is like! This would still leave the factory valves though correct? Unlike mrt where they include longer tubing that gets rid of them.I may or may not be getting this installed tomorrow...
Easily solved at the time of installation.

For that you would need to go to a shop though so they can cut out and weld new small pieces of pipe in those areas? I was thinking with the drop in muffler you can just cut out exhaust and use flanges to connect the new one in?
I guess we all have our own definition of easily
Most likely this is going to be a situation where you just cut the whole old assembly off, valves included, and replace with this muffler and some 3 inch piping to make the connection.

Yep - the only advantage I personally see to MRT is that you don't need to weld it and you can do it in your driveway.
Like others in this forum, i havent seen any exhaust that makes me want to switch from stock or pull the trigger. Waiting for that to happen but until then happy with stock 100%.
Keeping the valves all depends on how much room we have with the new muff. I'm contemplating keeping them if it fits. I think they'd help with highway drone. I suppose we will see. Also I ordered that muff from AmericanTrucks, they had a guaranteed delivery date of today, now it's saying tomorrow. They blamed it on FedEx, shitt customer service, don't bother doing business. Seems install will have to wait til tomorrow.
