Haha. It is stock. Just with the valves removed. Shitty audio, but I do feel like they all sound the same. They just get louder.

I agree with you to a certain extent. Guys who are putting on after market exhausts seem to all say they sound much better then stock. In a pretty recent AWE video the guy was saying how amazed he was that they were able to get such a deep bass sound out of the exhaust. Thats what I feel like it’s missing. Especially at warm idol or when you’re not really getting on it.

That's my reason for getting an exhaust. I love the sound when I floor it, but I also want some noise just cruising at regular speeds/acceleration levels.

I also refuse to accept that I'm on the wrong side of 35 now, and I'm desperately trying to hold onto whatever "youth" I have left

I hear ya. I’ll end up with an exhaust at some point. Probably just chop and seal the muffler.

Exact same result with a muff swap...it is hella deep now. Very clean though, I've noticed some of these other aftermarket systems are very raspy.

Agreed! The warm idle is where I’ve heard the greatest difference, specifically the AWE. Still waiting to hear more clips of Magnaflow and Borla at warm idle. The aggressive Magnaflow Xmod setup sounds completely different than stock while revving it out! So I completely disagree with that sounding the same. I don’t like the tone of the Flowmaster, Catback or muffler. If I had to buy one today based on the info I have, it would be the AWE!

Agreed! The warm idol is where I’ve heard the greatest difference, specifically the AWE. Still waiting to hear more clips of Magnaflow and Borla at warm idol. The aggressive Magnaflow Xmod setup sounds completely different than stock while revving it out! So I completely disagree with that sounding the same. You wont be disappointed with the AWE , i am loving mine. Ill get some drive-bi clips tomorrow.

Definitely an improvement. Its a very deep sound. It has 0’drone, and its not overpowered at all while normal driving. Now when you get on it , it growls man. Definitely do not recommended if you are one of those that are trying to see how good of gas mileage we get on these trucks. Because the sound is addictive.

I am in Broward. 1 hour away. I will definitely keep them in mind if you recommend them. I have a few places up here for truck mods that are solid but not exhaust specialist. Thanks.

Would like to hear more, but I thought the Atak sounded really good. It had a lower tone to it.

Well I was hoping to get some clips of the aFe done this weekend but North Texas weather and my wife's kidney stone pretty well ruled that out. So as soon as I can get a free moment I'll find a back road in Mexico and get you guys some clips.
