Welp… went to go test my 0-60 and got a flashing CEL. Truck is idling rough and has codes for misfire on every cylinder. It also backfired in 1st and 2nd gear so stopped, then flashing CEL.
I’m guessing your cats are on their way out.It will barely stay running and shut off on me twice. Going to need the dealer to tow it in….

I have the latest software update as of 2 weeks ago. Got my HP meter up to 403…HA! It’s just a computed estimate based on RPM & throttle position. We have the wrong map in the latest flash.
How do I know? Boost gage is not a computed estimate. It’s an actual reading. Got it up to 28 psi, for just a moment. Temps high here today (105+), so ECU is limiting boost to 26-27 psi. Not a big deal.
I’m so pissed, but at the same time I love this truck, how is this normal? My wife just told me to get it fixed, sell it and buy a 24 HC Durango..
Tow truck from roadside has been scheduled.
That’s a pretty good run!She still rips, even with the atrocious
Mine saying 400hp as well, only was able to pull a 5.4 0-60 as well
At least you lawn looks sweet
What were you able to get for a 0-60 prior to the flash?Mine saying 400hp as well, only was able to pull a 5.4 0-60 as well
What were you able to get for a 0-60 prior to the flash?
Whats your elevation and ambient temp?
Trying to assess if this is a change for you or this is your normal.
May be a bad batch of cats…BUT, my latest software update…the service advisor read it to me. It was supposed to address an unspecified problem with the cats.It is comforting that there are good knowledge members on the forum like this though. Hope he gets his truck sorted soon if it is the cats. Seems the factory may have had a bad batch when those were being built.
Your graph Y axis differs from mine.First oil change at dealer about a week ago, as per them all updates available are done. Never ran anything other than 93, figured I'd drop that little nugget and watch the thread implode.
False
I'm just avoiding the dealer for things, instead I'm going to a local non-dealer shop to perform fluid changes, maintenance, etc...I don't trust the dealer or RAM at this point. My truck is hitting every measurement normally even in TX heat, no issues, no CEL, and I'm north of 2000 miles now.I do believe that's false as well - As Dwight Shrute says ... However what poster rhofan brought up does kind of make sense and that is concerning. His statement is below - curious as to your thoughts on that. I don't like the sound of limiting boost under conditions I WANT MORE BOOST!! lol

We all know what the unspecified problem is…now, what did they do to our tune to save the cats? I don’t think any tuning issues are restricting the HP gage…that’s just a screw-up on their mapping.
But, they may be limiting boost under more conditions…or, softening the ramp up of boost? Just guessing here.
