how is hands free driving working?

I use my hands free often. I probably have close to 2000 miles of hands free use and it still impresses me every time. I have a 35 mile or so commute to work and it’s nearly all highway so I kick it on and sit back and drink my coffee and let it deal with the stop and go traffic bs. I find that it sets my day on a positive note every time.

Did you figure this issue out? I don’t have the green light as well.

I tried this and still not working
No. I plan to be on a highway tomorrow morning and will let you know.

Okay so mine only shows the green lights at night. I guess I’ll have to ask the dealer…

My green light isn’t working even at night. If that’s the only issue with my truck, I’ll gladly take it.

It works. Ran it for about 10 miles and it worked better than I expected.

Mine is the same. I only get, or at least see, the green light at night. Hands-free still works without the green light, but it's weird; I only see the green light at night.

Same here. Dealer will be installing power boards in two weeks. I’ll ask them to look at it when it’s there. If you get an answer before me, please let me know.

Following along with this as mine isn’t showing the green lights on the side either. It’s getting PPF and tints at the moment so I’ll try the dash dimmer whenever I get it back and see if they works. Haven’t tried hands free at night yet but will also try that and follow up as well. Hoping I can get the issue fixed with the dash dimmer🤞🏼 if anybody has found a solution to this when the dash dimmer didn’t work let us know!

Dash dimmer didn’t work for me.

The green light blinks like it’s coming on then doesn’t.

I have only drove the truck twice because it basically went straight to the tint shop but I believe that’s exactly what mine did as well. Came on but went right back off. I’ll update if I find a solution. Does yours work at night?

Yes mine works at night. The two times I tried it. Can’t get it to work during the day even with adjusting the dimmer settings.

I may have missed it, but doesn't it change lanes when you indicate? I've tapped the indicator, and noticed the arrow come up on the hands free, but it didn't change. I think I'm doing something incorrect.

Yes mine changes lanes when I press the turn signal stalk.

You can’t do the “3 blinks” turn signal bump. You have to engage the turn signal all the way & keep it engaged until the lane change is nearly complete.

If traffic does not allow, it should not change lanes until the adjacent lane is clear.

Thanks!!

I just used my hands free to drive to the airport and back, maybe around 75mi hands free along the way. All of this was at night. Mine tends to slowly ping pong between lines, but nothing too crazy… my only concern with it is I probably appear to be drunk driving with the way it tracks.

That said, if there are no cars around, I was pretty impressed. I was completely hands free and had to really try to push the limits of what it would accept before notifying me to keep my eyes forward. It maintained speed well, changed lanes once I hit the signal, and took some pretty strong curves and roadway bumps with ease.

I thought I’d read this might be a subscription, but I can’t seem to find any information on this. I guess I’ll be pretty upset if it goes that way because I have no intention on subscribing to my vehicle… but otherwise I’m really pleased with it.

Mine definitely works on the signal bump.

I think it's 5 years after which you have to subscribe.
