New info on 98 mph top speed.

Ram needs needs to address this to everyone. In some way shape or form they need to inform owners and future owners of what their plans are. New software update with a recall to update all trucks with new cats? Something

Mark Dodge seems to be a really good liaison between Ram and their customers/this forum/the community. I'm hoping maybe they will be able to get to the bottom of all this and potentially share some information with us.

This whole thing is so f'ing stupid. I want to be excited about my new truck but lately theres been nothing but people who seem to be have had their horsepower cut, and now this whole top speed thing. WTF is Ram doing, and why are they so secretive about it? It's like this is the first vehicle they have ever produced because apparently they have no clue what they're doing.

I know, it shouldn't be all this negative and being unsure of $80000 truck. It should be exciting and deep down im still exciting besides all this BS being thrown around on this forum.

Good question. That 11.7 1/4 mile can’t be achieved with a 98 mph top speed. Even on the 25 site that info seemed to be hidden.

Its is DEF not doing an 11.7 quarter mile detuned or regular tuned or even jb4 tuned lol

That 11.7 was for 0- 100mph which apparently it can no longer do.

But, they say it gets 21 mpg hwy. They edit the top speed, but leave the false mpg info. Slick!

What the hell is Ram doing? Detuning trucks without telling customers, sneaking around and editing/removing performance numbers on the website. What's next? So sick of this shit.

Just looked at the 2026 site and apparently now they've upped the powertrain warranty to 10yr/100k. And NO mention of top speed whatsoever that I can find, nor is there any information about the 0-60 times, quarter mile times, no performance numbers at all. Seems they're REALLY working to cover their tracks.....

21MPG - lie. I have tried driving slow, consistent, tried different fuel octane. At best 13.3MPG

Illumination warning light - comes, goes, disappears.

A few issues but still happy. The only one that kills me is the 98MPH. Not that I always drive that fast but once in a while is good to have it available. $88K should come with a bit more honesty.

My truck should be getting to the dealer soon and now I'm getting worried.

Quality issues with so many electric components one can say are expected. Sucks but… I just hate the lies. I might have still purchased the truck if they said 13MPG and governed at 98MPH. It is all about making an $88K decision with the right information.
