RAM RHO HO Downpipes with High Flow Cats +100hp!

plugging away getting material for the production run.

I understand the concern about it being loud. I'm actually going to install some stainless bros resonators this weekend to see what type of reduction it makes to address those concerns and to have a recommendation for folks who want to tame it down.

Current assumption is 4-5db reduction which will bring it pretty close to stock.

Looking at the AWE there is room to add said resonators as pictured below.

I added some vibrant bottle resonators (looked just like the stainless bros) to the AWE on my TRX because I felt it was too loud. It brought it down to a perfect sound level.

RESULSTS ARE IN!!

PSP Fat Cats make more boost everywhere!

MASSIVE MIDRANGE GAINS!!! 3K-4K rpm's with an average of 4.3 psi of increased boost!

improved bottom end as well as you are making an average of 3psi more from 2k-3k rpm's

boost curve delta follows the dyno curve really close.

What DS Map and Fuel are you running for both runs on those charts?

Logging AFR's as well.

ZERO LEAN CONDITIONS!!

Nice gradual taper from 14.5 to 12.4 at redline.

The ECU is doing its job controlling AFR's because O2 readings are in check

This is the difference between a regular high flow cat and an EPA compliant high flow cat. The downstream O2 sensor is reading more O2 vs the upstream wideband sensor in the turbine housing. This is what happens when you have functioning cats working within OE specs, as the cat converts noxious gasses to safe compliant gasses the result is more oxygen in the exhaust. The relationship between the cats and the O2 sensors is functioning appropriately and just like the OE.

Do you have an estimated ship date? Order placed and page stated 4/6 weeks but just wondering how long that has been on the order page.

Thanks

These down pipes are still digging a hole in the back of my brain. I don’t need them, but I think I want them. I still think their hands down the best Performance gain as far as power. I just don’t want to regret it if I have some problem and they blame it on the cats Later down the road. I also want to hear what they sound like with the stock exhaust on them. Also, with the added resonators you were talking about so that it can be toned back down again. As long as the resonators don’t add back in enough restriction that it loses what it gained.

Factory exhaust with dp’s

The idle doesn’t sound bad. I’ve personally never been the type to rev a motor in park or neutral so I don’t care what that sounds like. Do you have any drive by or acceleration sound clips to hear it under a load?

wait so it's only 15HP and 45lbft gains compared to the stock exhaust?
At max…look at the power produced under 4k rpm…it’s substantial.

@DBallz you should show what the average gains are over the entire curve and show peak torque and HP gains regardless of rpm.

I'm a novice at anything other than a cat-back system. But, what do you feel is the ideal cat-back to run with this?

Anyone that you like the sound from. Zero HP or torque gains.

Peak, meaning the highest amount stock vs the highest amount with fat cats.

Power under the curve is everything!!!

From 2-3k its closer to 50hp and 70 lb ft

From 3-4k its closer to 80hp and 100 lb ft

With a cat6 the largest gain is over 100hp and 150 lb ft at 3250 rpm

Spool is dramatically increased

It’s a completely different truck now

Its actually responsive at 2k rpm

“MY IDEAL”

is the stock system with some resonators added

Everyone is different

I tend to gravitate towards the quiet end of the spectrum
