They cannot fix my 2025 RHO! Too new of a truck???

Yea but the question for me is over time do you think all these issues will get sorted out. I planned to buy and keep the truck for long-term. I also don't mind spending money on aftermarket items and support. I just would hate to on a day to day basis deal with something you're supposed to have a passion for and it's nothing but headaches. Thaat really takes the enjoyment out of the car hobby. Granted every vehicle if you visit their board has issues and people bitching lol I checked out the Raptors / TRX's / and even some V8 TT BMW X5's - all same kinda stuff lol

Or you might be one of the vast majority who have a truck with zero issues who don't post a thread every time everything works as it's supposed to. Food for thought.

Yeah talking to my service guy at the dealership Stellantis is aware of the issues and I think they will get it worked out. Most of the issues that they have seen are electrical issues with this brand new electrical structure on this truck. The thing that sucks on my end is being gun shy to drive it long distances out of fear that I am going to get stranded.

I like that thought Matt but probably not with my luck 🤣

Yea that def blows because one of the things I like to do is go for a ride with some friends. They all have cars they like, we pick a destination, pop it into the GPS and head down. It would be embarrassing to come out of lunch and be like yeaaaaaaaa so who can i get a ride with? LOL

I was soooooo excited to buy an RHO! Sure, it's not the TRX, but it's still a beastly truck with many gadgets, electronics, and a fun-to-drive machine. However, I drove off the lot and immediately received a "U-Connect Error" and an immediate service-required message. I drove it a bit more, and the Blind Spot Monitoring began failing on start-up as well, and the lights would stay on in the side mirrors. AEB and Cruise Control would stop working. I moved the shifter into "Sport" mode once to "tap the gas" and feel a little of what I bought; it instantly hit the redline and would not stop (even with no gas applied) until I threw the shifter out of the sport mode. That lasted about 2-3 seconds, but it was not a fun few seconds. At this point, I knew something was seriously wrong with this truck. So, it went back to the dealership to get fixed.

My RHO has sat at the dealership since Feb 7, 2025. I purchased it on Jan 31, and picked it up on Feb 1. Now, it sits in a service department that cannot fix it. They have no idea where to look. They will not replace or change anything until Ram tells them they should.

I was told that due to this truck having such low miles (I bought it at 58 mi) and its extensive errors within its system, the problem is far beyond the capabilities of the dealership. No one has been trained on this new system installed in the 2025 Ram vehicles. They say it communicates much differently than the previous Dodge/Rams they service. They are unsure what to do with the trucks' new "Ethernet" system.
😂 mines in shop now for same thing

You're on to something, they won't get fixed...cancel the order and buy a Raptor.

I can't. I been on the Raptor forum for a decade lol they have major transmission issues. Exhaust valve rattles. The gen 3s also have a ton of electrical issues. Carbon build up on the 3.5 ecoboost and ignition and a ton of cam phaser problems lol trust me grass ain't greener. Every truck/car has its laundry list of problems.

So pick the one you like most and cross your fucking fingers.
