Turbo/wastegate actuator rattle!

I pegged mine open and only cost is 4 band clamps. My GMC had them also and I had done the same on that for a bit more exhaust note and zero rattle. Can also go back to stock anytime

Mine has the high pitched noise at startup. Mine does not have a leak (rock solid boost pressures and vacuum). It sounds exactly like my old Subaru STI air pump that enabled on startup. I beleive it had something to do with emissions.

For those of you that have the actual "waste gate rattle", from the actuator rods themselves, , I have been able to eliminate 99% of it with springs just like the raptor guys were able to do . I experimented with spring placement, lengths, and tensions. The position, and springs in the pic are where I have the best results. The rattle on cold starts and slow/light acceleration is 100% gone. (cold start was where mine was the worst. Sounded like a broken sewing machine) I now only hear the rattle on deceleration from higher RPMS, like when you are in Baja mode and decelerate from like 4500 rpms and higher where the trans holds the gear vs upshifting, and even then the rattle is almost imperceivably.

Update on this? Still giving good results? No issues with the movement of the rod with the amount of tension you applied?

Yea mine was unbearable. I still hear it here and there but not near as bad
