Curious as well. I see 26’ owners trying to get the key to work meanwhile my 25’ still hasn’t asked to pair a digital key lolz.

So, explain how '26 owners are getting the digital key, but my early-year '25 hasn't seen sh*t? Patrick Brady replied a month ago verifying my VIN would be moved forward. 2 weeks ago, he asked if I received any updates and told him "no". As promised, we are here with some news about the impending launch of the Digital Key to our model year 2025 Ram trucks. The next phase of deployment is a software launch to a small subset of customers and will continue from there in small increments to ensure there are no issues before/during/after deployment.
Since we know this is a highly anticipated feature launch, and we also know none of you here are shy about letting us know if any issue arises, we would like to include forum members in this initial deployment so you can be some of the first access the feature.
If you own a 2025 model and would like to ensure you are part of the first wave, which we anticipate to be deployed by the end of next week (timing subject to change at any time for any reason), all we ask is that you send a private message with the same title as this post, Digital Key Activation, and include your VIN. No additional info needed. Due to the anticipated volume, this will help us keep track of everyone. Please don't expect any additional follow up via that private message besides ato confirm we received your PM.
Our intent is to use this thread to continue posting all additional updates as we receive them. Again, we expect this to be a relatively slow roll out to ensure the best customer experience.
We will be able to accept PMs for VINs until 10/14/25.
After 10/14/25, any VINs received may not be able to be included in the first wave. We do not yet have information on timing for the additional waves.
Thank you all for your support of Ram Cares on the forum so far, and we look forward to a smooth rollout! As with any software-based update, we at Ram Cares will take any feedback you have to provide once the update is received and dispense it back to the software engineers.
EDITED TO ADD: If your vehicle is not already equipped with the initial capability, it cannot be added. We will do a check on VINs as we receive them for the necessary sales code and in the instance your VIN does not have the sales code we will then let you know.

lol he still hasn’t responded to me and it’s been a week. Damon weaver also didn’t have an answer and said he’s waiting on the engineering team. Same boat as u w my 25 not having shit
I feel you with this. I had the same email from Patrick the other day. Just got another one from a Damon Weaver. He said it’s rolling out in batches. I literally just received my update last night. Works flawlessly with my Apple Watch and iPhone. My truck is a Dec. 2025 build.
From memory, it doesn't ask. When the truck has the necessary firmware, you'll just get an extra tile in your Ram app. To see that tile you have to you have to scroll the top tile list to the right, it will be the last one to the right of digital glovebox.
Does it do the deal where you get to the apple step, set your phone on the charging pad and it just says "connecting..." forever?
You should get an OTA on your Uconnect. Then once installed, you delete your ram app and then download and log back in. So I think youre just waiting for the update. It pops up when you turn off your truck. You can just get out and leave the truck unlocked for about an hour. Should update in its own. You dont need wifi, it uses the trucks connection

Same here. TSB applied. The SPAAK file process required about 6 module updates, then the tile finally showed up. All in all, took about 4 hrs with a battery tender and I waited for it.
